Surviving Family Travel: Day Trip to Cannon Falls, MN

I wrangled the children for another local-ish day trip. We went to Cannon Falls, MN, which is about an hour south of The Twin Cities proper.

Cannon Falls has long been a mid-way stop for my family: halfway between my childhood home and my grown-up home. My parents and I have used the rest-stop for swapping cars, kids, gifts, a quick lunch, and now as a fun day-trip excursion.

I created a vlog about our trip back when I was first starting out at MN Backyard Tourist. Before I realized that blog format is much more family friendly. Wouldn't you rather scan through materials than watch a video with the volume barely audible while holding a sleeping child, trying not to disturb your sleeping spouse, or worse have your toddler realize that your device DOES play movies after all!
